My Story
Tania Hernandez, a Jamaican-Canadian, is a multisensory reading and language practitioner, author, motivational speaker, vocalist and cultural performer. She lives by the motto : Bloom where you’re planted, and her motivation is always to bring out the best in others, through kind thoughts, words and deeds. Tania writes sometimes for her local newspaper and writes motivational messages on her A Mother`s Heart FB page, and writes about education and strategies on her @MutlisensoryTeacher FB page.
Tania is also a sponsor and mentor of Citikidz, an organization that seeks to provide leadership and encouragement to inner city children and youth - changing Hamilton one child at a time. She is also a member of The Jamaica Foundation of Hamilton which does a lot of fundraising efforts to support the National Children's Home in Mona,Jamaica - a home for orphaned children.
She is a devoted wife of 33 years and going, and the proud mother of 4 children and a grandson. She enjoys cooking especially to bring her family together - nurture the body, as well as the mind, heart and soul.
